Michael Hansmeyer @ SmallSpace Gallery

SmallSpace Gallery, which is "just an experiment" according to gallery sources, is a brand new, micro gallery in the fashionable Prenzlauerberg area of Berlin.
Their current exhibit, Michael Hansmeyer's "Platonic Solids" is a very tight show in a even smaller room, consisting of only 9, beautifully framed pieces.
The work, evoking exquisite hand blown venetian glass-goblets, or maybe rather the Holy Grail is beautiful in that self explanatory way...
Monumental (but on a smaller scale), with ethereal light reminding me of one of those late night flights when You wake up at 3 in the morning, 30 000 feet above the clouds, passing over the North Pole and the sun is just coming up...
